* ANECDOTE: At the playtime, Patrick© asks for his turn by conversing “I wanna, I wanna do it, give it to me!” . On watching the stoppage in water flow he says “it’s all done”. Hello stops Nazlene© from interrupting his work bad orders her by saying “stop don’t put the pot in here” . Then he proceeds to fill the pot with a big container and on being unable to do so because of the low water level he seeks help from another child. In the end he puts forward his thoughts by saying “stop! It’s enough ! enough . We are almost there” .

**REFLECTION**

Reflecting on Roger Greenaway’s stages of learning cycle has helped me in getting insights from the provided webinar on emergent curriculum .

On major insight is that emergent curriculum is not just about reflecting child’s interest but a planning and plotting with collaboration of teacher and children. This shifted my perspective by highlighting the important part of the approach

I felt inspired on creating a suitable environment for children that fosters their creativity in their young minds . However I also found it interesting in how some misconceptions regarding emergent curriculum can change the meaning of it. This prompted me to realise how educators can balance child led interest by structural and more practical methods that benefits both teacher and child while giving them plenty of chances to explore on their own .

In case of future usage this plethora of information on open ended learning will be used by me in future .

I aim to advocate for more informed understanding of emergent curriculum in my learning community . By adopting strategies that combine intentional planning with children’s interests . I hope and plan to create a dynamic and wide learning environment for children . This approach not only consider the young learners but also shapes their learning experiences. Developing the feeling of love for learning that can last their whole life .

In conclusion, getting to know this information made my understanding of emergent curriculum clear. By getting in touch with the facts , feeling, findings and future impact. I am better equipped to use this in my practice , eventually beneficial for the children I’ll be with.
